Where is my heart, hand, and feet?

About 70, or so, years ago my great-grandfather and his son, my great uncle, went to get food from the corner store in Puerto Rico. My uncle, Tio Juan, was only (about) 5 years of age at the time. As the two walked down the street to the store all they wanted were a few small items, not knowing how high the cost would be that day.

A man dressed in all black came through the corner store doors. He went up to the cashier, pulled out a gun, and demanded all the money the store had. After the robber snatched up all of the money, he took much more than that. He pulled the trigger on his gun, aimed at the cashier, and the other people in the shop. My great-grandfather took a bullet in his heart for his son that day, pushing away my Tio so he could keep his safety, life, and future together. People put others in front of their selves (such as explained) for all different reasons. One may do it because they feel it is the right and honorable action to take. Others, like my great-abuelo, would risk their own lives because the deep love and passion they have for another’s life. My Tio Juan wept more than ever that day, for it all happened so fast. Through all the pain, one thing he can never deny is the love his father had for him, and how grateful he is to him (along with others who were saved from the risk taking by another) and forever and always he will be.

Sadly, such heroic moves are not always taken. For others in near death circumstances where one has to decide “others and possibly me” or “most-likely me only” people take the choice to save their selves. Personally, I think it a selfish choice to leave others to die because you are too worried about your own life when you would hate for another to run past you in a near to death situation, but you cannot make everyone see the same. All I know is life can literally change forever in one split moment, choice, and/or action. There will be choices one will have to make from the true instinct of one’s heart. Now I ask myself, would I be ready to make the leap for another before hiding myself? And how many other are with me?

One meet, One day, Forever love...

This world has been around for billions of years, and this world may be around for a billion more. There are plenty of people that have made (or will) make a difference, in some way, to this world. If I could meet just one of them I would choose that person to be... Gene Kelly.<3

I know that if I knew I could honestly meet any one person from the past for a day I would probably choose another individual. But, for the sake of not geting into all of my private life, I would choose Gene. The reason for this, for me, is obvious why I would want to meet and spend a day with him. He was an amzing actor, singer, and dancer (excluding the amazing side note that he was BEAUTIFUL) from the 1900's! I would most definitaly have to spend that day watching him dance, dancing with him, and learning some of his great skills. Plus, a date would not be bad...!!! <3 We could go to Paris, have breakfest in a cute diner, he could show me around the movie studio (when he was filming An American in Paris), take many pictures, and talk up a storm getting to know eachother. Then, we could stop at his place, he could show me around, we could have like a sandwich there, walk to a nice open place, dance dance dance and then tour the city. For dinner, we could have a romantic serving at the finest place he knows in Paris! We would later sing and dance our way around the city, doing the most facinating activties, laughing up a storm, and soon... falling in great deep love!<3 Then of course, I would hate myself for doing so because I would have to go back to present day where he has already passed away.......

All I know is that, if what I just stated could truely happen... IT WOULD BE THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE<3. I truely appreciate Gene Kelly as an actor, singer, dancer, and gorgeous man. I hope one day I could be so talented, but those are some big shoes to fill so... I will keep that wish in my dreams! If only they made time machines already, if so, I would dance the night away with my one meet, one day, forever love...Gene Kelly.<3
